How to report a listing

Every listing published on El BuscaCasa includes a "Report listing" link at the bottom of the page. Any visitor, with or without a registered account, can use it to tell us about a problem with the listing.

Accepted report reasons

  • The property does not exist or is not available
  • The advertiser does not have the owner's authorization
  • The information is false or incorrect
  • The price is misleading
  • The photos are stolen or fake
  • It is a fraud or scam
  • It is a duplicate listing
  • Other reason

What happens after you submit a report

Every report is logged and queued for review by our team. We typically review reports within a few business days, prioritizing cases suggesting fraud or risk to users.

Possible outcomes

  • No action: after review, no breach is found.
  • Listing suspended: temporarily removed from public view while the situation is clarified.
  • Listing removed: permanently removed due to confirmed breach.

No guarantee of outcome

El BuscaCasa reviews all reports in good faith but cannot guarantee a specific outcome or resolution timeframe in every case. Reports do not replace or prevent the reporter from pursuing any legal action available to them with the competent authorities.
